Travel expected. London based commercial office, with the science and engineering team based in Lancaster.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and high performing commercial person to help us take Q-IDs to the world. This is a new business role, with huge commission earning potential. You will be responsible for signing contracts with new customers and everything that entails, including:
- Outreach and networking to create leads and get meetings
- Developing opportunities through our sales process
- Working with prospective clients and our science team to develop a solution that meets their needs
- Some international travel to meet prospective clients
- Closing deals in competitive tenders
- Negotiating contracts
- Hitting a quota
Key experience
- Experience driving new business growth in technology or science businesses
- Experience selling to large corporations or governments
- Experience with highly technical and complicated solutions sales
- Experience selling into both the c-suite and technical roles
- History of top sales performance
Nice to have experience
- Experience in the security printing, anti-counterfeit or brand protection industries.
- A background in science or technology
