About the Role
As a Testing Coordinator, you will play a key role in orchestrating comprehensive testing of our security applications across diverse mobile devices and real-world environments. You will coordinate a team of testers and work closely with our iOS and Android developers to ensure our anti-counterfeiting app performs optimally across 200+ smartphone models, delivering reliable authentication results for users worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to work on projects with a positive impact in an innovative environment, including:
- Coordinating testing campaigns across multiple app variants on iOS and Android platforms
- Recruiting & managing a team of testers working in various real-world environments
- Developing test protocols and acceptance criteria in collaboration with our development team
- Organizing testing across diverse lighting conditions and environmental scenarios
- Creating testing methodologies for image-based authentication with guidance from technical teams
- Coordinating with engineering teams to report findings and track issue resolution
- Producing comprehensive testing reports and tracking success metrics.
Key experience
- Proven experience in mobile app testing or coordination with at least 3+ years of hands-on testing experience
- Autonomous self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience coordinating testing across multiple platforms and organizing test execution
- Experience creating test plans, acceptance criteria, and tracking test results
- Good communication skills for liaising between testing teams and developers
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to learn and understand technical concepts sufficient for effective test coordination
Nice to have experience
- Basic understanding of image processing applications and camera-based testing
- Experience testing applications that rely on smartphone cameras
- Basic scripting experience, particularly with Python for test automation and data analysis
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems and testing documentation tools
- Experience with statistical analysis for success rate measurement
- Project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- A background in technology, science, or quality assurance
