This is a hybrid role, which can largely be remote. However, there is a requirement to travel to visit clients, as well as visit either our London or Lancaster offices. You are welcome to work more regularly, or even full-time, in office if preferred.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and high performing account manager to lead and deliver value to our major client accounts. Our commercial model is selling via partners, which makes this role incredibly important. This is a growth focused account management role, with great commission earning potential. You will be responsible for signing contracts with existing customers and everything that entails, including:
- Networking within client organisations and building relationships with key contacts
- Developing opportunities through our sales process
- Working with clients and our pre-sales team to develop new solutions that meet clients needs
- Some international travel to meet clients and attend events
- Closing deals in competitive tenders
- Negotiating contracts
- Hitting growth targets
Key experience
- Leadership of large accounts
- Experience driving growth in technology or science businesses
- Experience selling to large corporations or governments
- Experience with highly technical and complicated solutions sales
- Experience selling into both the c-suite and technical roles
- History of top sales performance
Nice to have experience
- Experience in the security printing, anti-counterfeit or brand protection industries.
- A background in science or technology
